WHO IS SEMA KOYUNCU?

After completing her primary, secondary, and high school education in Konya, Specialist Sema Koyuncu continued her undergraduate education at Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry. Following her undergraduate studies, she began her doctoral studies in the Department of Periodontics at Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry, and then her specialist training in the Department of Orthodontics. Throughout her doctoral and specialist training, she participated in numerous national and international congresses.

INTEREST IN ORTHODONTICS

Because the length of orthodontic treatment is a major factor that prevents patients from seeking treatment, she became interested in methods that shorten treatment times. In her thesis, she investigated the "Effect of Piezocision on Treatment Duration in Patients with Extractions." Her areas of interest include rapid orthodontic treatment, orthognathic surgery, lingual orthodontics, and pink and white aesthetics.

She became a member of the Dentova Aesthetic Dental and Implant Center family in 2019.
She is married and a mother of two. She took a break from her professional volleyball career after an injury to dedicate herself to swimming.
